Mothercraft

In 2019, Mothercraft created a 10-year strategic plan that focused an ambitious growth. In a post-covid environment, Mothercraft wanted some support to narrow down possible expansion approaches and identify key actions to advance the strategy. Creative Futures worked with Mothercraft to translate their 10 year strategic expansion goals into tangible actions that anticipate the range of changes impacting the futures of early learning.

Our Approach:

  • Research and analysis of potential expansion options including implications and cost impacts.

  • Development of and use of four possible futures of early learning to evaluate potential expansion options.

  • Designed and facilitated sessions with the leadership team to identify key actions, milestones, resource requirements and measures of progress that need to be undertaken to achieve the 10 year goals.

  • Development of an implementation roadmap including key phases and ways to monitor progress towards achieving growth goals.

Results:

Mothercraft is able to move forward with confidence, receiving endorsement by the Board of Directors to invest in key steps over the next 18 months that will position the organization for growth over the longer-term.

Working with Jessica and Heather from Creative Futures was both a productive and pleasant experience. I found them to be very flexible while still managing to maintain focus on the ultimate goal of an expansion plan and roadmap that our Board could endorse.
